Daisy Edgar-Jones Wore Gucci To The ‘Where The Crawdads Sing’ New York Premiere

Daisy Edgar-Jones attended the world premiere of ‘Where the Crawdads Sing’ held at the Museum of Modern Art on Monday (July 11) in New York City.

I know some of you are anti-sheer dress straight off the bat, but when I look at the modifications to Daisy’s Gucci Cosmogonie Resort 2023 dress, this is why I will always be on the fence and take each look on a case-by-case basis.

This colourful flower embroidered dress is absolutely stunning.   

I’m delighted to see something from Gucci that doesn’t have a retro reference.

Not everyone wants to bare all on the red carpet, however, I wish the layer underneath had been either plain, or cut- to the asymmetrical hemline with the part cascading down her leg as it is.

With all that being said, Daisy does look beautiful here. 

Her complexion helps to highlight just how beautiful the embroidery is, and I’m glad she didn’t take styling inspiration from the runway as we’ve seen enough opera gloves this week already.

I would’ve personally loved this with a nude bodysuit, which I believe the model is wearing.
