Naomi Campbell Wore Valentino To The 2022 Prince’s Trust Gala

Naomi Campbell joined Phoebe Dynevor, Maya Jama and Lily James on the red carpet for the 2022 Prince’s Trust Gala held at Cipriani 25 Broadway on Thursday (April 28) in New York City.

The supermodel wore a custom Valentino gown designed especially for her by Creative Director Pierpaolo Piccioli.

It’s a beautiful gown.  One made for a gala, especially one with royalty in attendance, but my overwhelming, nagging feeling doesn’t strike me as a Naomi Campbell gown.

I think she’s served up so many Alaia and Alexander McQueen looks in her time, that this princess offering feels foreign.

That is not to say she doesn’t look beautiful.  That purple hue is melting my heart.

One thing I know I don’t like are the accessories.  Both the cuffs are unnecessary, and she could’ve done much better in the necklace department.
