Monica Wore Rick Owens To The 2022 CMT Music Awards
We love a genre-crossing performance at music awards ceremonies, and that’s what happened at 2022 CMT Music Awards held at the Nashville Municipal Auditorium on Monday (April 11) in Tennessee, where Monica performed the song ‘Pray’ with Jimmie Allen, and Little Big Town.
Before her performance, she rocked the red carpet wearing a Rick Owens Spring 2022 look.
I’m here for something edgier and new at this country music ceremony.
This is very much on brand for Monica who loves and appreciates fashion, you only have to look at her Instagram to know this.
You’ll either wish she had hemmed the length of her ruched leather skirt, or love that she didn’t try to modify this original design, especially considering Rick Owens doesn’t conform to the fashion ‘rules.’
I’m somewhere in the middle, but I do love the Rick Owens cut-out top and the Rick Owen Tatlin vest.
