Elle Fanning Wore Oscar de la Renta To The 2022 Critics’ Choice Awards

Elle Fanning was just one of many celebrities who opted for a sparkly, metallic style at the 2022 Critics Choice Awards on Sunday (March 13) in Los Angeles.

In true Elle Fanning-fashion, the actress (celebrated this awards season for her work in ‘The Great’) seamlessly showcased Old Hollywood glamour with a twist in her iridescent Oscar de la Renta fit-and-flare dress, which she paired with golden Jimmy Choo ‘Anouk’ pumps.

One of my favorite things about Elle is that she (and her stylist, Samantha McMillen) understand exactly how to play with more mature styles and aesthetics, without aging the young star or robbing her of her youthful vibe.

This golden gown feels classically regal yet still fun and fresh — thanks, in part, to Elle’s simplistic jewels, slicked-back pony and elegant red lip.
