Zoe Kravitz Wore Oscar de la Renta To ‘The Batman’ New York Premiere

Zoe Kravitz attended ‘The Batman’ world premiere on Tuesday (March 1) in New York City, following last weeks London premiere.

Some might say not much has changed from the London premiere, as Zoe once again wore a black column gown, which was an on theme, but on this occasion she wore a custom dress from Oscar de la Renta.

If you’re anything like me, you’re thinking “this isn’t an Oscar de la Renta style of dress”

And I would wholeheartedly agree.

Twitter was ablaze with comparisons to Helmut Lang’s 1989 cat bodysuit, which was later inspired by Reinaldo Lourenço.

As the saying goes, fashion cycles will often repeat themselves, but the usually applies to trends, colours and prints, whereas this feels heavily “inspired.”

When it comes to Zoe’s two looks, I personally prefer the Saint Laurent dress as it instantly blew me away and was an original design.

I would’ve liked to have seen something different for the world premiere, but that is not to say that she doesn’t look breath-taking because she does.

However, there are only so many black dresses with a differing bodice I can take before this starts to get a little…dare I say? Boring.
