Blake Lively Wore Atelier Versace To ‘The Adam Project’ New York Premiere

Blake Lively attended the New York premiere for ‘The Adam Project’ on Monday (February 28), where she was supporting her husband, Ryan Reynolds.

Spring was in the air, as the actress glided down the red carpet wearing this Atelier Versace Spring 2019 multi-coloured silk chiffon gown enriched by shades of gold and bronze Swarovski crystals along the draping.

I can already predict the comments.

“She overdressed.”

“This wasn’t her premiere or her night.”

“She stole the spotlight.”

Personally, this is very much what I expect from Blake, because Blake will always do Blake. I would be highly disappointed if she edited herself.

As an overdresser myself, I can fully appreciate how she didn’t add to the other black dresses on this red carpet.

And honestly.  What is wrong with overdressing? 

Haven’t we all been crying out for red carpet glamour since the lockdown forced us into sweats and joggers?
