Caitriona Balfe Wore Loewe On The Late Show with Stephen Colbert
Caitriona Balfe, star of the film ‘Belfast,’ made a guest appearance on ‘The Late Show with Stephen Colbert’ to celebrate her SAG Award nomination and to discuss the way the film portrays the human side of the events known as “The Troubles.”
She did so in shimmering fashion wearing a Loewe ruffle sequin dress from the Spring 2022 collection.
It’s fair to say that this collection hasn’t translated as well as we hoped on the red carpet.
Zendaya, Lorde and Laura Harrier haven’t set our senses on fire with their outings.
The only one who did manage to bring some life to this collection was Gal Gadot, who wore a red version of this dress to the ‘Red Notice’ LA premiere back in November.
This was a much trickier look to pull off with the trio of contrasting colours, but Caitriona has always had a knack of bringing so much style and charisma to her looks.
What I love most about this look is that she didn’t neglect the footwear, which would’ve been easy to do when the dress is so vibrant.
I was honestly expecting black pumps, but with Karla Welch styling the Irish actress, I should’ve known better.
