Ruth Negga Wore Saint Laurent To The Hollywood Reporter’s Women In Entertainment Gala

Ruth Negga joined her ‘Passing’ co-star Tessa Thompson on the red carpet for The Hollywood Reporter’s Women In Entertainment Gala on Wednesday (December 8) in Los Angeles, California.

Much like Tessa, Ruth isn’t afraid to make a style statement, as she did in this Saint Laurent Spring 2022 tan corduroy jumpsuit.

My first thought was that I kinda wished that Karla Welch had saved this for Olivia Wilde.

Not only does it feel like a better fit for Olivia, whose style is heavily influenced by the ‘70s, but she’s also four inches taller than Ruth.

That doesn’t mean I hate this look by any means. It’s really cool, but I can’t help but feel that this one piece needs someone taller to really make it work.

I don’t mind the randomness of the blue gloves, because I expected to eventually see them on the red carpet after they appeared on the Spring 2022 runway.
