2021 American Music Awards Menswear Red Carpet Roundup

The 2021 American Music Awards also had a host of men who suited up for the event hosted on Sunday (November 21) Los Angeles, California.

Silk Sonic – Anderson .Paak and Bruno Mars – made their AMAs debut, opening the show with their latest single ‘Smokin Out the Window’.

We’ve seen enough from Jared Leto’s ‘House of Gucci’ promo tour to instantly recognise these red velvet suits with a satin trim as Gucci.

I love how the soulful duo capture the spirit of their music with their outfits.

Neither look feels costumey.  Just very on brand for the groups, and each singer, as they presented this style before becoming a duo.

24kGoldn AMAs

24kGoldn was next to catch my eye in this Marni suit.

Not because it’s a man wearing daisies. I was enamoured by the visual impact, and the overall styling.

Larray in Gucci AMAs

Floral suits were trending on this red carpet as Larray rocked this Gucci suit which had more of a retro feel due to the muted tones.

I’m not usually the biggest fan of platforms, but I do like how they elevated Larray’s look.

I am really intrigued by Bad Bunny’s Entire Studios look, mostly because of the footwear which looks like he’s wearing shoe protector covers.

Machine Gun Kelly

Machine Gun Kelly walked the red carpet with his 13-year-old daughter, Casie Colson as his plus one, instead of his girlfriend Megan Fox.

She looked cute in her black long black dress. While her dad was giving us classic MGK wearing a grommet drenched custom Ashton Michael look with spiked collar to amp up the rock star vibes.

I was about to say that this Dries Van Noten look feels really tame by Diplo’s standards, then I clocked the shoes.

Giveon was looking as smooth as ever wearing a Valentino bomber jacket, Bottega Veneta zipper accented trousers from the Fall 2021 collection Tiffany & Co. jewelry.

Iann Dior’s Raf Simons Spring 2022 look was very typical of his rock married to trap-style.
