Elle Fanning Wore Balmain To The 2021 InStyle Awards
There were many celebrities on the red carpet for the 2021 InStyle Awards on Monday (November 15) in Los Angeles, California, but all eyes were on Elle Fanning.
If you told me that I would be typing the words Elle Fanning and Balmain in the title, I would’ve said you’re crazy.
But the moment is here, and I am obsessed as the actress continues to elevate/evolve her style, not rest on her laurels, and give us something new – something many of you have been screaming for, for quite some time.
As you know I’m team Elle all the way. Whatever she delivers.
But I didn’t see this Balmain bejewelled chain link top from the Spring 2022 collection on the horizon.
This piece is giving me Balmain army vibes, as it feels like it was made for Rihanna, Bella Hadid, Naomi Campbell, Jennifer Lopez, Jourdan Dunn, and Zendaya.
Especially Zendaya who loves a breastplate red carpet situation.
For me this is a risk that paid off.
Some might have preferred trousers, some might have preferred less blush, but I have a lot of respect for this effort.
The simple low-slung skirt didn’t distract from the main event, while the red lipstick and gold rings completed what will be an iconic look for the actress.
Elle Fanning’s longtime stylist Samantha McMillen was honoured with the Stylist of the Year Award at the ceremony, what a way to commemorate their 10-year working relationship.
