Lashana Lynch Wore Vivienne Westwood To The ‘No Time To Die’ World Premiere

Lashana Lynch Wore Vivienne Westwood To The 'No Time To Die' World Premiere

The world premiere of ‘No Time To Die’ has been much anticipated.

We even had to wait an extra year and a half due to the pandemic, so I’m happy the event finally took place at the Royal Albert Hall on a rain soaked Tuesday (September 28) evening in London.

There are many people to get through, but I wanted to start with Lashana Lynch who was one of the newbies on this cast.

As you know I have always been a champion of Vivienne Westwood designs, but this is bad.

Bad bad.

And I’m not even referring to the rain soaked hemline which is easy to look past.

What I can’t look past is just how unflattering that bodice is.

Westwood gowns are known for giving a lift when there is not much to work with, but this does the opposite and completely flattens Lashana.

And where is the waist?

As much as I love yellow, I’m having major doubts about it here.  Possibly because it was teamed with a black tulle underlay giving me bumble bee vibes.

Am I judging unfairly/too harshly?

Perhaps.  I really wanted a major moment for Lashana, and this ain’t it. I’m devastated on Lashana’s behalf.

Karla Welch can create the most amazing looks for Tracee Ellis Ross in her sleep, but she gives Lashana this?

Ara Vartanian and Shaun Leane Jewellery completed her look.
