Kate Winslet Wore Armani Prive To The 2021 Emmy Awards

Kate Winslet returned to the red carpet for the 2021 Emmy Awards from L.A. LIVE on Sunday (September 19) in California, following her last red carpet appearance back in 2017.

I didn’t realise that it has been that long until I looked it up.

The British actress has never been a “fashion girl.”  But her style has always been well regarded in terms of bringing plenty of sophistication to the red carpet, which she did wearing Armani Prive.

This dress might fall under the radar because it doesn’t make the loudest statement, it’s void of embellishments, volume and drama, but this beautiful piece, which is accentuated by sheer sleeves for a touch of alluring intricacy, was the perfect re-introduction to the red carpet for Kate.

Could she have done more in terms of giving us a more dramatic selection of jewels from Fred Leighton?

We will never forget the impact emerald jewels had on Angelina Jolie’s black Oscar dress, but low-key elegance is Kate’s lane, and she’s sticking to it.
