Timothée Chalamet Wore Tom Ford To The ‘Dune’ Paris Premiere

Timothée Chalamet Wore Tom Ford To The 'Dune' Paris Premiere

Timothée Chalamet joined Zendaya and Rebecca Ferguson on the red carpet for the ‘Dune’ Paris premiere held at Le Grand Rex on Monday (September 6).

The actor is very much in a league of his own style-wise.  But can he sell a denim tuxedo to you?

Tom Ford’s O’Connor tuxedo has been a go-to for actors such as Henry Golding and Bradley Cooper, but they have always taken the “classic approach.”

Those techniques still apply to Timothée’s look which features satin peak lapels, while the trousers remain refined with pressed pleats.

Do I love this?

Compared to his other looks this year, I’m not as wowed, but the look does fit this more scaled back premiere.

I trust that someone with Timothée’s sartorial style wouldn’t have made this an option for a Cannes Film Festival or Venice Film Festival premiere.

I’m glad he didn’t give us Justin Timberlake at the 2001 American Music Awards and make this a three-piece denim suit, opting for a white banded collar shirt instead of a denim one.

Tom Ford Chelsea boots and a selection of Cartier jewels completed his look.

What do you think of the American actor in his “Canadian” tuxedo?
