Cynthia Erivo Wore Schiaparelli Haute Couture To The 'Dune' Venice Film Festival Premiere

A few of us were a little disappointed that Cynthia Erivo wasn’t giving us the drama we’ve now come to expect from her on the red carpet for the Venice Film Festival opening ceremony on Wednesday.

By Friday for the ‘Dune’ premiere, she was back on track wearing a Schiaparelli Fall 2021 Haute Couture look which was the living embodiment of Michael Jordan’s “And I took it that personally” meme, because she went big.

Galactic. Giving us tinfoil, space-age, Haute Couture realness.

Can you picture anyone else other than Lady Gaga rocking this?

I can’t.  This look is very much a party of two.

You must have the poise, grace, and sartorial know-how to make a look like this work.

You have to hold it in a certain way, and you can’t allow the most dominant part of the look to overwhelm you.

Every picture on Getty was frame-able.  Each pose she told us to chill because she knows the assignment.

We were wrong to doubt you, Cynthia.

You were just warming up.
