Jodie Turner-Smith Wore Gucci For The ‘After Yang’ Cannes Film Festival Photocall

I was excited to see Jodie Turner-Smith this afternoon (July 8), at the Cannes Film Festival photocall for ‘After Yang.’

I knew she would give us something different, with many elements to feast on, so when it comes to this Gucci Resort 2022 look, she read the assignment.

But do I like it?

I love the idea of it.

I’m salivating over the accessories – leather shoulder pads sitting outside the dress, and the randomness of the white collar which adds a touch of formality.

Honestly, without these elements I’m not sure I would’ve loved the dress.

The only thing I would still change about this look is the riding crop and the having two layers on the skirt.

Otherwise, this really did pique my interest, but I have a feeling that this evening she will really surprise us.
