‘Gossip Girl’ New York Premiere Menswear
The series is titled ‘Gossip Girl,’ but there were some men (who joined the ladies) on the red carpet at Spring Studios for the New York premiere on Wednesday (June 30).
Thomas Doherty wore a Givenchy Pre-Fall 2021 look which possesses elegant minimalist tailoring with micro details which sets this apart from the norm.
However, I’m wondering why he didn’t button the jacket.
His hand placement would’ve made more sense if he was brandishing a very expensive watch on his wrist.
On the plus side, his stylist knows good tailor, as they decided against the bunched up trouser look which we saw in the look book, and the black shoes which would’ve been criminal with this sleek summery suit.
On the opposite end of the spectrum, we have Evan Mock rocking a Gucci suit which had a lot going on thanks to the geometric motif.
I’m glad he opted to style the look with the darker hued Gucci jacket, as I feel this kept the spirit of the ‘70s vibe alive.
A Gucci bag with the signature Web stripe completed his look.
