Taraji P. Henson Hosts The 2021 BET Awards With Several Looks

Taraji P. Henson hosted the 2021 BET Awards held at the Microsoft Theater on Sunday (June 27) in Los Angeles, California, and with that came several looks.

For the red carpet she wore an Atelier Versace Spring 2020 dress.

I don’t love this dress as there’s a little too much going on and most of it doesn’t really make much sense, but I love Taraji in this dress if that makes sense. 

She’s giving it everything.  I’m buying into her and how she feels in this dress more than the dress itself.

I haven’t seen the BET Awards, as it’s yet to air in the UK, but one look at Taraji in the Dundas Fall 2021 velvet robe and trousers combination style with the circular shades, and it’s clear that this was a sketch for H.E.R., as this is the same look that the singer wore on the red carpet for the 2021 Grammys earlier this year.

Afro, a sparkly catsuit, and voluminous cape from Greta Constantine?

There is no question this was an ode to Diana Ross.

Casadei pumps completed her look.

I’m hoping this Zuhair Murad Fall 2021 red sequin fringe dress was another tribute look, because this dress belongs in a bygone era, despite the Fall 2021 label.

The look was styled with Christian Louboutin ‘Walk a Mile in My Shoes’ pumps.

Yes, this Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini Fall 2021 LBD feels like a totally different dress from the runway with the reduction in the volume of the puffed sleeves, yet this was one of the looks of the night for the host.

From the thigh-length hair to the nude catsuit, this must be a tribute to Ciara.

I covet those pumps.
