Yara Shahidi Wore Yara Shahidi x Adidas & Etro To The 2021 MTV Movie & TV Awards
Yara Shahidi was on hand to announce Chadwick Boseman had won ‘Best Performance in a Movie’ for Netflix’s ‘Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom’ at the 2021 MTV Movie & TV Awards that took place at the Hollywood Palladium on Sunday (May 16) in Los Angeles, California.
The ‘Grown-ish’ star gave her Yara Shahidi x Adidas Originals – Recreate x Yara – collection their red carpet debut.
The new collection includes a pair of classic Superstar sneakers, two jackets and coordinating track pants, which was two years in the making, comes hot off the heels of Beyonce’s Ivy Park drop back in February.
Yara’s reimagined Beckenbauer tracksuit featuring a printed track top and matching track pant combo in tones of gold, yellow, orange and green – which draws inspiration from both the actress’ Iranian and African American heritage – was styled with a lemon Etro corset.
I know some of you aren’t fans of celebrities pairing tracksuits with pointy-toe pumps – and I can’t say I’m the biggest fan of this either – but the Christian Louboutin caramel brown pumps blended nicely into the background.
Yara also styled her look with Cartier necklaces.
