Gillian Jacobs was busy promoting her Amazon Prime Video superhero series ‘Invincible’ this weekend.
We’ve always been fans of Gillian’s style as it authentic, she has fun with fashion (particularly with colours and prints) plus she’s not one for following trends.
We didn’t get to see much of the Simone Rocha x H&M collection, as there wasn’t the big promo push beforehand due to COVID, where we would’ve seen more celebrities wearing the collab, and a big party to celebrate.
The most popular dresses collection sold out in record time, so the PR wasn’t needed, but I’ve really needed to see more of this collection worn in real life, other than the one dress which has been worn by Chloe Sevigny and Maya Rudolph.
It was one of those collections where I loved the dress, but it;
A. didn’t really fit my style, and
b. even if it did, there is nowhere to wear it to right now.
So I was delighted to see Gillian bring one of the more delicate, “fantasy” pieces to life.
This pink cloqué and tulle overlay dress should be screaming “too twee,” but there is something about Gillian’s presence and styling of this look that I’m not feeling that at all, even though I would’ve said this dress was more fit for Elle Fanning, or Yara Shahidi.
