Regina King Wore Christian Dior Haute Couture To The 2021 Directors Guild of America Awards

Regina King attended the 2021 Directors Guild of America Awards on Sunday (April 11) virtually.

She nominated in the category of DGA Award for Outstanding Directing – First-Time Feature Film for ‘One Night In Miami,’ which eventually went to Darius Marder for ‘Sound of Metal.’

The director may have lost out on the award, but we win by getting to see yet another pitch perfect look; this time from the Christian Dior Spring 2021 Haute Couture collection.

I had this midnight blue tweed ensemble on my wish list for Marion Cotillard, because this look oozes that Parisian elegance that the French actress was known for during her time as an ambassador for the brand.

If you’re going to go the tailored route during awards season as a female director, let it have plenty of personality like this look.

The ink organza shirt, under a crossover top ensured this look was endlessly feminine.

While this may not have the high level of glamour we have seen from Regina this awards season, this is my second favourite after her Louis Vuitton dress from the Golden Globes.

Jimmy Choo ‘Anouk’ pumps completed her look.
