Ashanti Wore Alexander McQueen Promoting ‘235 (2:35 I Want You)’
Ashanti is currently promoting her new single ‘235 (235 I Want You)’.
We all know how saturated the music industry is, and that in order to stand out you need either drama with another artist, or you have to do something to catch people’s eye, as the record buying (downloading/streaming) public are easily distracted.
Ashanti did just that in this Alexander McQueen black and red ruffled blazer which she shared to her 6.1 million Instagram followers.
My first reaction is that this could’ve been a cute look, if…
1. She had gone one size up for a better fit.
2. Pinned the front together to give the appearance of a short dress.
3. Styled the look exactly like the runway from the waist down.
