Brie Larson Wore Jacquemus For The Virtual 2020 Creative Arts Emmys

Posted by Catherine Kallon Comments

Brie Larson, who started her own YouTube account during lockdown, celebrated her Emmy win with boyfriend Elijah Allan-Blitz, and Van Jones as she won the Outstanding Original Interactive Program award for her virtual reality series, ‘The Messy Truth’ during the 2020 Creative Arts Emmys on Thursday (September 17).

The show may have been virtual, but the actress didn’t let the moment or her outfit go to waste, as she shared her look with her 6.7 million followers on Instagram.

Samantha McMillen is Brie stylist, but on this occasion all the credit – including hair and makeup – goes to Brie herself.

She captioned this Instagram post, “Emmys at home. Styled by me. HMU by me.”

Blake Lively would be proud.

We’re having what we call an Indian summer over here in London, as our end-of-September days are more sunshine filled than usual, so I’m living for this hazy lemon Jacquemus Valensole dress.

I know many are ready to move onto Fall, but not me.

I love how the look channels an earthly elegance, even though I prefer the way the dress is modeled on the runway with an off-the-shoulder silhouette.

Brie has never been one to show a lot of skin, so I’m not surprised by the way she has opted to style this look which features a layered bikini top suspended from pin-thin shoulder straps.

Sustainable fine jewelry from Emily Wheeler completed her look.
