Kappa x Juicy Couture Launch Collaboration With Sofia Richie

Remember when Juicy Couture was THE IT brand, and everyone from Jennifer Lopez, to Lindsay Lohan, Paris Hilton, to Eva Longoira, to Kim Kardashian to Jessica Alba to Victoria Beckham (yes Victoria Beckham in her Spice Girls days), and Nicole Richie used to wear the velour tracksuits, almost like it was a uniform?

Well Italian sportswear brand, Kappa, and LA-based leisurewear brand, Juicy Couture, have dropped a capsule collection with Sofia Richie to ring in Juicy Couture’s 25th anniversary. This collaboration blends together contemporary and nostalgic fashion, reinterpreting the classic Juicy Couture silhouettes with the Kappa aesthetic.

This collection features fitted tracksuits, tube tops, belted bum bags, slides, and more, offering both a pastel palette of mint and blush and a neutral offering of black smoke. Fitted with the Kappa and Juicy initials, this collaboration also includes the iconic Kappa Banda running along the arms and legs of the tracksuit and the ‘Juicy’ stamp across the seat of the track pants.

As much as I was a fan of Juicy back in the day.  I drew the line the ‘Juicy’ stamp on the pants.

The first drop will fully consist of silk satin pieces, the second will feature the classic velour fabric that has become synonymously tied with the Juicy Couture brand. A girl of leisure with a touch of glam, this collection embraces Juicy Couture’s LA heritage with a tributary nod to the early Aughts pop-culture scene.

The Kappa x Juicy Couture collection will range from $40 – $225. Dropping exclusively for purchase from September 10th – 13th at a pop-up in Los Angeles (8618 Melrose Ave., Los Angeles, CA 90069) before dropping globally online on September 15th including, Kappa.com, and at the Galeries Lafayette Champs-Elysees on October 1st.
