The Global Goal concert was streamed online and broadcast on TV networks around the world on Saturday (June 27) to raise money to “combat the disproportionate impact of COVID-19 on vulnerable and disadvantaged communities”.

The event was hosted by Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson and featured performances from Christine And The Queens, Coldplay, J Balvin, Usher, Justin Bieber and Quavo, Shakira and more.

Miley Cyrus, performed a countryfied version of The Beatles’ ‘Help’ from the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California, dedicated her set to “those who are tirelessly working on testing, treatment and vaccines so all of us can come together in places like this empty stadium again.”

Alexandre Vauthier’s innate talent for producing sexy, sculptural silhouettes is boldly expressed in this teal one-shoulder crystal beaded cut-out gown.

Some might feel that this Spring 2020 Haute Couture dress was a bit OTT or a performance in an empty stadium for a televised performance.

But I feel this gown showcases her dramatic, daring style, so I like that she opted to be her authentic self when delivering this powerful performance for this important cause.

Tom Ford pave chain metallic leather sandals and a mullet – perhaps in homage to her dad’s iconic hairstyle – completed her look.
