Cate Blanchett Wore Roksanda To The Plot Point Berlinale Party
One of my favourite red carpet moments from Cate Blanchett was from the 2007 Berlin Film Festival, when she wore a stunning black Givenchy Haute Couture gown. It comes second to her Christian Lacroix Haute Couture dress in her red carpet Hall of Fame.
She has gone on to attend other festivals in Berlin throughout the years, and while she hasn’t hit the official red carpet yet, she was spotted at the Plot Point Party on Sunday (February 23) in Germany.
Last week, Cate seated front row at Roksanda’s Fall 2020 show during London Fashion Week, so it looks like she called first dibs on Look 30.
I kinda wish she opted for Look 1 or Look 4 instead.
There’s just a little too much going on here.Â
Between the oversized bow, oversized blazer, those tassels and the high-waist of the skirt, I would say this is a rare misstep for the red carpet queen.
