The Making Of Penelope Cruz’s Chanel Haute Couture Dress

Chanel have shared some behind the scenes pictures of the making-of the Penelope Cruz’s Oscars dress.

The black organdie in Chanel Haute Couture dress was created at the ateliers in Paris.

This custom dress created by Virginie Viard for the Spanish actress and House ambassador was inspired by a Chanel Spring-Summer 1995 Haute Couture dress.

It took 230 hours of work by six full-time dressmakers.

The white camellia, made in the Lemarié ateliers, a Chanel Métier d’art, was delicately placed on the low-cut neckline.
