Dior was of course represented at the 2020 Vanity Fair Oscar Party held at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts on Sunday (February 9) in Beverly Hills, California.
Charlize Theron: The comments on Charlize black Dior Haute Couture gown from the main event had you split down the middle. Some of you felt it was a return of classic Charlize, while others said that the look was boring.
But this is why we love fashion, because it’s so subjective.
Her second Dior Haute Couture look for the night came from the Spring 2020 collection.
Some might find this quite a languid silhouette, but for me the asymmetric neckline and cascading antiqued gold metallic fringes made this one of her best looks of awards season.
Greta Gerwig: Opting not to wear a suit, the actress delights in a very feminine Dior black tulle dress which was surprisingly sheer.
Now that this campaign is over, my feeling is that the suits will be shelved for a while.
