Caitriona Balfe was pretty in pink on the red carpet for the 2020 Oscars on Sunday (February 9) at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood.

But did this pay off?

The Valentino Spring 2020 Haute Couture look featured a black strapless mermaid dress topped with a sheer chiffon blouse.

Sounds simple enough. Right?

But I can’t help but feel the two together were a bit disjointed.

Caitriona reinserted some order by chicly accessorizing with slick hair, diamond studs, and a red lip and nails.
