Alicia Keys In Atelier Versace – 2020 Grammy Awards

Grammy Awards host Alicia Keys kicked off Sunday’s ceremony on a somber note against the backdrop of Lakers legend Kobe Bryant’s death earlier in the day.

“We’re all feeling crazy sadness right now,” Keys said after taking the stage slowly and deliberately after Lizzo’s triumphant opening medley. “We never imagined in a million years we’d have to start the show like this.”

A sadness that was shared by millions around the world.

During the show, the singer wore two looks by Atelier Versace.

My favourite was her metal mesh gown with elegant one shoulder neckline, featuring cascading Swarovski crystal accents and thigh-high slit.

I would go as far to say that this was a personal best for Alicia. 

As you would expect from a Versace Couture look, the fit is perfection.  And I’m glad she didn’t add any extra jewels, as this is a jewel in itself.

For the finale, Alicia wore black custom-made Atelier Versace jumpsuit embellished with black Swarovski crystals with printed bustier detail.

You knew for sure this was a Versace look when you clocked the over the knee Venus print boots, which were enriched with gold Swarovski crystals.
