Gugu Mbatha-Raw was also in attendance at the 2020 Golden Globe Awards on Sunday (January 5) in Beverly Hills, CA where she shone brightly — very brightly.

Sequins can go many ways. Here, they felt very happy and relevant, especially given their exuberant, golden-yellow colour that translated like sunlight.

With this retro-inspired Gucci Pre-Fall 2020 design, the ‘G’ in Gucci definitely stood for Glitz.

I love the cummerbund detail for a bit of androgynous flair to set off that plunge neckline and bold coral lip.
