Bel Powley In Miu Miu – 2020 Golden Globe Awards

Bel Powley proved puffy ’80s sleeves are back on the red carpet for the 2020 Golden Globe Awards on Sunday (January 5) in Beverly Hills.

It may have been the wedding dress trend many regretted from that decade, but tonight, Bel made it work.

‘The Morning Show’ actress arrived in a baby blue Miu Miu gown that not only had the puff sleeves but also a drastic deep v with ruffles along the neckline and a bow.

The look may not be for every taste and not everyone could pull it off, but her boldness to stray away from the tried and true body con dress or off-the-shoulder gown is admirable.

I couldn’t quite get on board with the makeup however.

Bel’s rosy eyeshadow gives the impression just woke up or fresh from crying look.

With a dress that already is on the border of looking like a night gown, I would go for a more put together eye look.

Perhaps champagne eyeshadow and winged eyeliner would do the trick?
