Awkwafina In Christian Dior Haute Couture – 2020 Golden Globe Awards

Awkwafina made history on Sunday (January 5) at the 2020 Golden Globe Awards held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in LA.

‘The Farewell’ star is the first performer of Asian descent to win a Golden Globe for lead actress, and she dedicated the award to her father.

She donned a tailored outfit from Christian Dior Spring 2019 Haute Couture paired with Stuart Weitzman ‘Joni’ sandals and Forevermark jewels.

While the frilly collar, blazer, and jeweled clutch are classic yet bold, the long skirt swallows her up and gives the illusion she is uncomfortable, as it appears too long.

I almost wish she had worn trousers.

Her winged eyeliner and red were flawless, nonetheless, especially when sporting that history making rare smile.
