Brie Larson In Giambattista Valli Haute Couture – ‘Just Mercy’ Toronto Film Festival Premiere

Brie Larson was back on the red carpet for the 2019 Toronto International Film Festival premiere of ‘Just Mercy,’ held at Roy Thomson Hall on Friday (September 6) in Canada.

Her ‘Captain Marvel’ promo tour wasn’t that long ago, so it’s still very fresh in my memory.

As soon as I saw her in this Giambattista Valli Fall 2019 Haute Couture gown, my instant thought was that she’s changed direction, and we won’t getting more of the same.

Which is a good thing. Variety is the spice of life after-all.

She made a very bold statement with this pink gown featuring a high-low silhouette.

The dress wouldn’t have been as spectacular as it is without the oversized bow at the back, which falls into a dramatic trailing train.

Honestly, I would’ve never picked this out for Brie. 

It feels more like a JLo or Sarah Hyland dress, but I’m floored by how amazing Brie looks in this, and how this doesn’t feel like she’s trying to be someone she’s not.

Anita Ko diamond Garbo choker, pink satin Jimmy Choo ‘Anouk’ pumps and matching clutch completed this mega moment.
