Yara Shahidi In Monse – CFDA Fashion Awards 2019
Yara Shahidi was out to showcase her sartorial style for the 2019 CFDA Fashion Awards held at the Brooklyn Museum of Art on Monday (June 3) in New York City.
The ‘Grown-ish’ star is never afraid to make fashion statements, whether its with her clothes, or her hair.
On this occasion it was with her hair.
I love the sculptural braids which were inspired by Diana Ross in the 1975 drama ‘Mahogany.’
It was perfect way to add a touch of drama to her Monse Resort 2020 object print twisted top and cherry fold over trouser combo.
I know many of you have never been on-board the PVC sandals trend, but I’m sure you’ll agree Yara’s Monse pair were the perfect finishing touch to a look with a lot going on.
