On Monday (April 29), Maria Grazia Chiuri presented the Christian Dior 2020 Resort collection.
Keeping up the tradition of hosting Resort collections in exotic locations, the French house hosted show in Marrakech, Morocco in front of a host of celebrities.
Lupita Nyong’o: The ‘Us’ actress doesn’t usually opt for sheer, but considering the heat, and the fact that this is one of Dior’s signatures, I’m sure you’re not that surprised on this occasion. The Dior Fall 2019 look also sees her wearing a black silk bodysuit (not leather as it appears to be), with the styling including a Dior ‘Saddle’ bag and a Dior ‘Saddle’ belt. Was that one saddle too many?
Jessica Alba: Having celebrated her birthday the night before, the actress was in very good spirits taking her front row seat in a Dior Fall 2019 printed tulle bodysuit with printed tulle skirt. I would’ve loved the skirt to match the bodysuit.
Karlie Kloss: Having blown our socks off for one night only at the ‘Night Of Food And Fashion’ FYC Event, Karlie was back to serving up simple elegance in this Dior Fall 2019 black silk dress. You’re probably expecting me to dislike this, but the look is so well-styled with the Dior belt, a Lady Dior bag and semi-sheer Dior pumps, that I can’t help but be charmed by this.
Shailene Woodley: We’ve seen this Dior Spring 2019 print a few times, yet it still feels fresh in this setting, perhaps because it was the most summery look at this event. Styled with a Dior blue leather clutch and Dior shoes, I wish she had a more youthful hairstyle.
Danielle Haim: I feel the yellow, blue, grey and taupe colours of this Dior Spring 2019 gown is drawing me in
Alana Haim: Of the three, this Dior Spring 2019 khaki silk dress was my favourite for both the style and colour of the dress.
Este Haim: Something about this Dior Spring 2019 beige tulle dress read a little too plain for me.
All the sisters styled their look with small Lady Dior white embroidered leather bag, and nude Dior shoes.
