Drew Barrymore Launches FLOWER Beauty In Australia

Drew Barrymore traveled to Australia to personally introduce her innovative make-up collection ‘Flower Beauty’, with three events, which gave us three looks to ponder over.

On Thursday (April 11), 300 lucky guests gathered in Sydney CBD for an intimate evening with actress.

She arrived with McDonalds and a glass of wine in tow, wearing a Spring-hued look courtesy of Marc Jacobs and Stella McCartney.

I’m sure you don’t need me to point out that the ruffled top is by Marc Jacobs, as this has been the hallmark of this Spring 2019 collection that has been embraced by Rowan Blanchard, Dua Lipa, Rita Ora and Grace VanderWaal.

Yes, this is a lot to take it with all that volume.  This is a long way off from her usual boho style, but I love that she opted to something different.

It feels like it suits her personality; exuberant and over the top.

The actress returned to her flower power roots for meet-and-greet with beauty editors and influencers.

This Valentino Spring 2019 jumpsuit may seem like an indulgent choice, but Flower is the name of the brand, so flower by nature.

It was another look with a wid-leg cut, which is both elegant without any effort, while the silver metallic belt keep it youthful and cool.

Drew’s final look came at the FLOWER Beauty launch at Westfield Parramatta in Sydney on Saturday (April 13).

It’s clear that bold colour – and plenty of it – was the theme of this tour.

Painterly watercolor stripes adorn this Rosie Assoulin Spring 2019 dress, giving it a romantic yet playful feeling.

Of the three looks, this feels like the most “Drew-like,” but does that mean you like it the best?

For me, yes.  I love the relaxed feel and easy nature of it all.

If there were 99 dresses in the room, Drew would reach for this one each time.
