Janelle Monae Channels School Girl-Chic At The ‘Little’ LA Premiere

Janelle Monáe attended the LA premiere of ‘Little’ on Monday (April 8), opting to wear a school-girl uniform.

Not in the Britney Spears ‘Baby One More Time’ mould.

Janelle’s look from Thom Browne’s Resort 2019 collection has more of cool vibe to it.

If this is feeling a tad familiar, that’s because this look is now becoming classic Janelle, as she has opted for a similar look at least once before.

I love how the blazer was cut in the manner of a tailcoat, with the black and white vest decked out with sequins for a unique, chic twist.

With a mini pleated mini-skirt, doing the most to amplified the school girl vibes, the look was complete with a sock and bootie combo, but it was the fierce blue eye makeup that really drew my attention.
