Julia Louis-Dreyfus Modified Her Marc Jacobs Dress For The 'Veep' Season 7 Premiere

Julia Louis-Dreyfus was joined by Zosia Mamet for the ‘Veep’ in New York City on Tuesday (March 26).

Her Marc Jacobs Fall 2019 strapless embroidered dress sits firmly in her wheelhouse.

It’s a silhouette which suits her perfectly, and I’m confident that you will prefer Julia’s presentation over the runway, which is interesting as we all preferred the added detail on Sonam Kapoor Ralph & Russo gown.

However, I wasn’t entirely convinced about the navy accessories, which included a Gabriela Hearst signature ‘Demi’ bag and velvet blue shoes.

An off-brown dress with navy accessories?

Did she sell this look to you?

Nam Cho Jewelry completed her look.

Boring. Should’ve been more spectacular and/or a statement piece for her series finale.

She looks great but it is not a memorable look.

The modification was a good idea because the sleeves were ridiculous. But without them, the dress is boring and a bit twee. It’s a dilemma. What to do? I know, pick another dress.
