Sabrina Sato In Tomo Koizumi – Baile da Vogue 2019

Sabrina Sato In Tomo Koizumi - Baile da Vogue 2019

São Paulo paid host to Vogue’s Brazil Ball, the traditional gala and fantasy party that closes the Carnival season.

Inspired by the opera, the ball welcomed fashionistas and famous names throughout the night on Saturday (March 23), in the hall of the Hotel Unique.

One person who immediately caught my eye was Sabrina Sato.

The Brazilian television presenter was the star attraction in her Tomo Koizumi Fall 2019 gown, which many on twitter have labeled the “piñata” or “candy floss dress.”

It’s sweet like candy, and just as colourful, so I have no issue with that.

The colours are only one part of what I love about this gown.

I love the dense ruffles that have become Tomo Koizumi’s signature.  The grace in which Sabrina carries this gown, which could’ve overwhelmed her.

And the effortless styling.

Any extraness would’ve taken this into clown territory, so I’m glad she opted for restraint.

Do you think Sabrina pulled this off?
