Moschino’s Spring 2019 Ad Campaign

Fashion Blogger Catherine Kallon features Bella Hadid and Adut Akech Star in Steven Meisel’s Vibrant Moschino Campaign for Spring 2019

Bella Hadid joins Vittoria Ceretti, Fran Summers, Adut Akech, Meghan Collison in fronting the Spring 2019 ad campaign for Moschino, which was styled by Carlyne Cerf de Dudzeele and lensed by Steven Meisel.

The beauty is work of hair stylist Guido Palau, and makeup artist Pat McGrath.

The kitschy collection which has so far been worn by Cardi B, Amandla Stenberg and most recently, Rita Ora, looks even more expensive, luxurious and covetable in this campaign.

I would love to see Anna Dello Russo in this collection, but since her “street style will be redundant,” statement earlier this year, I may not get my wish.

They are such amazing fun pieces…but in real life it HAS to be one piece at a time. The full looks just don’t work in real time.
The Bella dress is one I could def see working the rc….without all the extra!

Most Moschino stuff is good in small doses or as TeaAtTwo write for instagram and editorials and this stuff is no exception. I could see someone in Bella’s dress but without all the other stuff or Vittoria’s look but with fewer accessories (ditch the hat and bags) being standout looks at something like a photocall.

I can see these outfits being incorporated in a movie set in the 80’s but not excited to see it being worn outside of that context. Cute campaign though.

The first things that comes to mind is that the news that the collection was ripped from a fashion student’s collection and that the clothes work for ediotrial/an instagram pic but not as a proper outfit.
