Princess Charlene of Monaco has been fulfilling her royal duties in impeccable style.
WWI Armistice Commemorative Ceremony: On Sunday (November 11), she was in Paris for the Armistice commemorative ceremony, with her husband and around 70 heads of state, prime ministers and foreign dignitaries, but she had me in a trance with her impossibly chic head-to-toe Givenchy look. As we all know, Akris is her brand of choice, but I believe this was her first time wearing Givenchy, no doubt in honour of the City of Lights. Note how (fairly) simple each piece is, yet the look is so covetable. Effortless styling at its very best.
Monaco National Day: The National Day celebrations took place in Monaco on Monday (November 19). I can’t say I love this custom Akris look in its entirety, but the wide-brimmed black felt hat keeps me interested. It positives about this look are: it’s formal and event appropriate. No major fashion statements were required here, yet she’s giving us plenty anyway.
Monaco National Day Gala: Later that evening she changed, wearing yet another Akris design. Some might have wanted to see a bit more Hollywood glamour as per her Atelier Versace look, but the dutiful dress provided the perfect back drop for the order of St. Charles sash and medal. Jimmy Choo pumps and Repossi jewels completed her look.
