Oaks Day

Oaks Day

Racegoers headed to Flemington Racecourse on Thursday (November 8) in Melbourne, Australia, for Oaks Day – also known as Ladies Day.

It’s currently Spring in Australia, and it would appear that pink was the order of the day.

Elyse Taylor: The Myer ambassador wore a signature, well-tailored Alex Perry dress with a statement pleated sleeve giving the look so much life.

Kate Waterhouse: The socialite clearly got the pink memo opting for a Dolce & Gabbana ruched dress, matching bag and Chaumet jewels, but the leopard print pumps are a head scratcher here.

Megan Gale: The model was a vision in bold florals that embolden her drop-waist Maticevski frock. All black accessories including a Ferragamo bag and Kurt Geiger pumps completed her look, with a gold headpiece by Ford Millinery which didn’t quite work for me. The classic style of the dress felt like it needed a classic head-piece.

Montana Cox: The model didn’t get the pink or floral memo, opting to march to the beat of her own drum in this intricate Zimmermann Spring 2019 piece. On this occasion the gold head-piece worked in perfect harmony with her look which she styled with a Chloe bag and gold Stuart Weitzman sandals.

Jennifer Hawkins: Making her last official appearance as a Myer ambassador, she bowed out of her duties looking gorgeous wearing a beautiful Alex Perry floral dress and delightful hot pink suede Aquazzura pumps.
