‘This Is Us’ Season 3 Premiere

'This Is Us' Season 3 Premiere

The cast of ‘This Is Us’ showed their style credentials at the season 3 premiere on Tuesday (September 25) in Hollywood, California.

Mandy Moore: After flirting with black and white, she was back to colour in Alaia. It seems she has been pushing beyond her comfort zone and the regal medieval air of the maxi gown is indicative of that. Harry Kotlar, Maxior and Le Vian jewels didn’t overpower the design.

Justin Hartley: The actor looked dapper in Canali. Breaking up the suit provided a modern finish that was enhanced with the black shoes and turtleneck. Grey wasn’t an obvious colour in the jacket, but the trousers feel at home in the look.

Melanie Liburd: The British actress shimmered in a vintage dress, Judith Leiber clutch bag and Stella Luna ‘Indispensable’ pumps. Some might say it’s too much of a good thing. The classic proportions of the frock prevent it from veering into the ridiculous.

I like Mandy Moore’s dress. It’s different, although I think it would cause more impact if someone with a bit more presence wore it.

I love Mandy but this is such a disappointment, it looks dated and heavy.

I don’t really dislike it but I think I would have loved Justin’s top half and bottom half with different pieces.

Yeah the top and bottom half of his outfit don’t go together and even individually they’re too dowdy imo.

Mandy Moore’s dress makes me think of what a designer for a modern dance troupe would create for their interpretation of the American Civil War.

Melanie looks good. She could and should have ditched the bag.

It’s all so autumnal and kind of Christmasy, I’m trying to pretend that it’s still summer.

I love Melanie here, it’s a glitzy look. I think I would’ve liked Mandy’ dress if it was teacup length maybe, this length with the seam at the waist looks a little awkward to me
