Lady Gaga In Armani Prive & Ralph & Russo Couture – 2018 Toronto International Film Festival

Lady Gaga In Armani Prive Entertainment Weekly's Must List Party

Lady Gaga has always been a megastar, but her star has been on the continual rise while promoting her break-out film ‘A Star Is Born’ during Toronto International Film Festival.

This weekend she served up four stunning looks, which already has me MEGA excited for her awards season run. And if she’s not nominated, we’ll riot.

Entertainment Weekly’s Must List Party: A true moment of magic took place on Saturday (September 8), when she graced the red carpet in Armani Prive’s Spring 2010 bustier dress embroidered with sequins. Were the Amwaj white diamond earrings too much with this dress? No. This only enhanced her entrance.

Lady Gaga In Ralph & Russo 'A Star Is Born' Press Conference

‘A Star Is Born’ Press Conference: She may have dulled the shine, but not the glamour when she stepped out in this rich Ralph & Russo Fall 2018 burgundy liquid velvet asymmetric evening gown styled with Le Vian black diamond and topaz earrings.

Lady Gaga In Armani Prive 'A Star Is Born' Toronto International Film Festival premiere

‘A Star Is Born’ Toronto International Film Festival Premiere: If the previous look was a bit too tame for your liking, Gaga upped the ante at the premiere, marrying elegance and drama in Armani Prive Fall 2018. I love how she stepped out as Mother Monster, removing the veil to give us movie star goddess. This promo tour is going to give us plenty of twists and turns, and I’m here for it. Chopard earrings from the ‘Garden of Kalahari Collection’ completed her look.

Lady Gaga In ralph & russo couture 'A Star Is Born' Toronto International Film Festival after party

‘A Star Is Born’ Premiere After Party: Gaga’s final look of the weekend was from Ralph & Russo’s Fall 2018 Couture collection. This look saw her serve up sculptural elegance with a snatched waist, I only wish she’d ditched the head-piece for this look.  But I appreciate that the complexity of this had it been sewn in.

NO crazy outfits.. Amazing GAGA! Best Promo Tour of the year nominee 🙂

  2. John September 12, 2018 at 01:35 #

The silver Armani is very reminiscent of Anne Hathaway’s Oscar dress from 2010.

  3. Fanny September 11, 2018 at 21:27 #

I like all of these looks but I LOVE the first one.

  4. May September 11, 2018 at 14:03 #

LOVE all of these (the only iffy one is the after party look)

  5. Alina September 11, 2018 at 09:32 #

LOVE ALL OF THESE! She went for classic drama and she won.

Okay FC I am down for a riot!!

But from all accounts we won’t need to – I have heard her performance in this film is nothing short of spectacular. Her TIFF run has been fabulous…imagine what is to come.

I think the best promo tour looks this year goes to Lady Gaga, Gemma Chan and Henry Golding.

  9. JHH September 10, 2018 at 19:23 #

I adore the last three. The R&R is amazing on her.

    Gorgeous all around!

  11. Lena September 10, 2018 at 15:17 #

Omg she killed me with the black Armani, she literally came to the funeral of every boring basic girl lol showing them how to do fashion, and what she did here is show y’all that you can be dramatic but tastefully, I’m lost for words and I don’t know what to say anymore.

Ps: did you see her vogu cover it just came out today! She looks stunning af

I love all of these and agree about the headpiece on the last R&R dress. My only nitpick is the haircolor. It’s just not good.

  13. Vizual Ninja September 10, 2018 at 14:33 #

I thought Lena would be the first to comment =]. She looks stunning in all the looks, I love the old Hollywood glamour approach she’s taking. The premiere and the press conference looks are my favourite, I do wish she lost the head piece for the second R&R look like you said. Excited to see what she churns out next.

I’m heeeeeere lolz! Isn’t she just killing it! The other actresses better step up their game lol

  14. Caroline September 10, 2018 at 14:27 #

Her Armani at the Toronto Premiere is a BDOTY moment for me. I also love her 1st Armani look. She killed it.

  15. Hailey September 10, 2018 at 14:24 #

I am in awe. Her premiere look with the veil took my breath away.

  16. Chris September 10, 2018 at 13:15 #

My favorite has to be the Armani with the veil – when she’s wearing the veil. Stunning.
All of these are pretty great, though.

  17. James September 10, 2018 at 12:48 #

She’s slaying so hard!!! I’m here for every single look, the Armani look with the veil is iconic

i like her bravado and all, but i really can’t get on board with her hair and makeup–just too much hairspray, too severe looking. i dunno. maybe it’s just personal preference

  19. monsieuruz September 10, 2018 at 11:29 #

The film is “A Star Is Born” not “Born This Way”

  20. TeaAtTwo September 10, 2018 at 11:26 #

I love that she went classic bona fide movie star. I agree about the removal of the head piece with the last look and I might have selected a more toned down shade of lipstick with the first look.

  21. Cris September 10, 2018 at 11:22 #

I can’t find any fault in any of these! I like how feminine they all are!

  22. CreoleLady September 10, 2018 at 11:05 #

Love all of these (!!). She is not here to play, she is here to slay. WERQ.

  23. VG September 10, 2018 at 11:02 #

Wow these are all fantastic!! Perfectly styled, elegant but not boring and she looks like a true movie star. I especially love the black Armani.

Honestly, I haven’t been this excited for an awards season run since Cate Blanchett for Blue Jasmine. I don’t know how she’s going to top that Valentino at Venice or this Armani Privé but I have no doubt she will. Bring it on Lady!
