There were many more ladies – and men – who were at their summery Sunday best at the Audi Polo in Ascot, England, where they joined Naomie Harris.
Lily James: The actress was setting the tone for fuss-free summer style wearing a split sleeve dress sprigged with delicate blue flowers. I love the shades and the wicker bag, but couldn’t bring myself to love the dark velvet platforms.
Eddie Redmayne: It’s so good to see Eddie back on the red carpet. I’ve really missed his suave style. On this occasion her wore a cool-blue Polo Ralph Lauren suit with a matching tie in a slight darker hue, but it’s the polka dot pocket square that adds a dash of debonair spirit. You may be thinking, “he’s worn this before,” but actually he wore a similar blue Tom Ford suit back in 2013.
Vanessa Kirby: I’ve only ever seen Vanessa glam, so this Tory Burch Cameron printed dress styled with Tory Burch shades and white pumps was a sweet off-duty look.
Bel Powley: I adore the classically feminine silhouette of her Emilia Wickstead Giovanna dress, which is given a lift with the snakeskin print. This is when Fall-hued accessories work so well with a summery dress. It gives the whole look a boost. Neutral accessories would’ve felt bland by comparison.
Matt Smith: Joining his girlfriend Lily James, the actor opted for a melody of colours. Generally lighter trousers is easier to pull off, but the darker jacket always make this look feel more formal, so I’m glad Matt opted for the reverse here.
Laura Haddock: I love the idea of these white satin separates from Joseph, but the creases let her down. Otherwise this was such a cool look which she styled with a Roksanda Besa bag and Jimmy Choo sandals, which like Lily, were also velvet.
