2018 Tony Awards Red Carpet Roundup

Posted by Catherine Kallon

Here is a roundup of the of some of the other stylish attendees at Sunday’s 2018 Tony Awards.

Cynthia Erivo: The singer wore a bewitching black vintage lace dress which was so skin tight I could make out the outline of her belly button among other things. Thankfully there was a layer of fringe work to add some drama along with that berry lip. Fred Leighton jewels completed her look.

Uzo Aduba: I was hit by the gorgeous colour of Uzo’s Cristina Ottaviano gown before taking in how flattering the look is.

Christine Baranski: My first reaction to Christine’s Alexandre Vauthier Spring 2018 suit was breathlessness, as she looks so chic. I just wish the trousers had held up better on her car ride to the event. Nonetheless she still rocks this with Lorraine Schwartz jewels.

Sara Bareilles: With so many people reaching for the darker pieces from J. Mendel’s Fall 2018 collection, I was delighted to see something light and airy from the designer on the red carpet for a change. I adore this ultra feminine, princess moment.

Hailey Kilgore: This Zac Posen Spring 2018 gown was probably one of my favourites of the night. Enchanting yet not to sugary sweet, the off-the-shoulder detail enhances the romance as does her charming aura. A complementary Tyler Ellis clutch rounded out her look.

Lauren Ridloff: It feels like a long time since we saw a red carpet gown from Jason Wu. This one oozes effortless glamour which she styled with Ana Khouri jewels.

Melissa Benoist: The same can be said for Melissa in Christian Dior Pre-Fall 2018. There were many bold looks on this red carpet, but this felt refreshing simple and still stood out for me.

Katrina Lenk: Taking home the Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role in a Musical for ‘The Band’s Visit’, Katrina made an angelic statement in Georges Chakra Couture.

Katharine McPhee: Some Zac Posen gowns have a feeling of familiarity about it, this Spring 2018 piece was giving me so much drama. I love that she kepts her hair and makeup simple here.

Amy Schumer: The comedian kept things simple in Brandon Maxwell Spring 2018. Usually I want a bit more, but the look was very flattering.

Tiffany Haddish: Many of you thought Kerry Washington’s jumpsuit was more American Music Awards than Tony Awards, so what did you think of Tiffany’s Michael Kors Collection lace jumpsuit?
