2018 Tony Awards Red Carpet Roundup

Here is a roundup of the of some of the other stylish attendees at Sunday’s 2018 Tony Awards.

Cynthia Erivo: The singer wore a bewitching black vintage lace dress which was so skin tight I could make out the outline of her belly button among other things. Thankfully there was a layer of fringe work to add some drama along with that berry lip. Fred Leighton jewels completed her look.

Uzo Aduba: I was hit by the gorgeous colour of Uzo’s Cristina Ottaviano gown before taking in how flattering the look is.

Christine Baranski: My first reaction to Christine’s Alexandre Vauthier Spring 2018 suit was breathlessness, as she looks so chic. I just wish the trousers had held up better on her car ride to the event. Nonetheless she still rocks this with Lorraine Schwartz jewels.

Katherine McPhee In Zimmermann – Audience Choice Awards

Katharine McPhee picked up the ‘Favorite Replacement’ award for her work on Waitress at the Audience Choice Awards on Thursday (May 24) in New York City, where she also gave her new blonde bob its red carpet debut.

On the runway this Zimmermann Resort 2018 carefree summertime ensemble radiates a romantic and relaxed mood.

In reality, and for the event, it doesn’t work for me.

Katharine definitely has the body for this look, but between the shoes my strong feeling that this is more vacation than red carpet, this is a no from me.

Katharine McPhee In Georges Chakra Couture – 2018 Met Gala

Katharine McPhee was one of the lovely ladies in attendance at the 2018 Met Gala on Monday night (May 7) in New York City, joining Hailee Steinfeld, Gabrielle Union and Kerry Washington.

The singer-actress was another one who embraced blue and gold, but she put her own twist on things with this pale blue Georges Chakra Spring 2017 Couture gown crafted out of a textured diaphanous fabric. It adds allure to the sweeping style and contrasts the bold folds.

There are details aplenty with the layered accessories, but everything has been chosen carefully so nothing overpowers. It all presents an opulent, cohesive finish.

Katharine McPhee In Arias – 2018 Tony Awards Nominations Announcement

Katharine McPhee helped announce the 2018 Tony Awards nominations with Leslie Odom Jr. at the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts on Tuesday (May 1).

The ‘Scorpion’ actress was dressed for the season in Arias Spring 2018 separates.

The relaxed silhouettes and subdued floral print were a nice change of pace as many likely expected her to don a dress.

My only wish was that she styled the bow detail like the lookbook version, rather than having it folded down the front, as the sharper shape would have added a bit more drama to the pieces.

Jimmy Choo sandals completed the ensemble.

4th Annual Ties & Tails Gala

The 4th Annual Ties & Tails Gala for Paw Works was held on Saturday (March 10) in Westlake Village, California, with both Katharine McPhee and Kaley Cuoco in attendance.

Katharine McPhee: As the theme was ‘James Paw 007’, Katharine had her own Bond girl moment in this white gown that offered a fresh take on the ubiquitous, asymmetrical silhouette with the playful ruffle, a belt to further enhance the waist, and her classic red lip.

Kaley Cuoco: With a glitzier take on James Bond glam, the Paw Works celeb ambassador and board member donned a paillete-covered Bibhu Mohapatra Fall 2017 frock. I wish she had worn a simpler black sandal as opposed to the gray Casadei platforms that compromised any chance of streamlined glitz.

Elton John’s AIDS Foundation Academy Awards Viewing Party Red Carpet Roundup

There was no shortage of memorable looks at Elton John’s AIDS Foundation Academy Awards Viewing Party on Sunday (March 4) in West Hollywood, California.

Karolina Kurkova: Look closely at the Czech model’s Balmain Pre-Fall 2018 suit as the fabric has a marvelous texture that’s flecked with sparkles on the collar. It might not have been the loudest look, but it was unique and nice to see another pants option.

Darby Stanchfield: The ‘Scandal’ actress celebrated floral and fauna with her Teresa Helbig gown. Unfortunately, there were too many opposing elements between the print, sequins, sharp neckline and the sparkling bag. I can see some saying it’s a lesser version of Gucci.

Petra Nemcova: The philanthropist and model struck a pose in a sunny Celia Kritharioti gown. It was a well-executed look with her waves echoing the ruffled shoulder detail. The red lipstick and high slit added allure to the cheerful fabric.
