Kate Mara In Alice + Olivia – SiriusXM

Kate Mara swung by the SiriusXM Studios on Monday (March 26) in New York City.

Menswear-inspired pieces on the red carpet is nothing new, but I loved this interpretation on tailoring from the Alice + Olivia Pre-Fall 2018 collection.

The shorts along with the metallic tapestry pattern offered such a shiny, fresh variation on girlish glamour that doesn’t take itself too literally, with the ruffled, lace blouse underneath contributing a moment of feminine allure.

At first I was wishing for a lighter metallic sandal, but I do appreciate that these pumps were a deep shade of sapphire-blue instead of black.
