Vanity Fair And Lancome Toast To The Hollywood Issue

There were more lovely ladies who attended Vanity Fair And Lancome Toast To The Hollywood Issue party in LA on Thursday (March 1), joining Zendaya Coleman, Danai Gurira, Tracee Ellis Ross and Tessa Thompson.

Nina Dobrev: Stepping once again outside her “Zuhair Murad mini dress” and “short set” comfort-zone, the actress wore a layered Calvin Klein dress which was super simple in design. I can’t say I’m too excited by this. I wish that the vibrant orange sandals had also translated to her clutch, which feels too heavy with this look.

Aubrey Plaza: I’m loving the array of biscuit hues which make up a ultra chic look from Michael Kors’ Fall 2018 Collection.

Madeline Brewer: Bold hues, a fringed hem and cut-outs? It sounds like there’s a lot going on with this Cushine et Ochs Pre-Fall 2018 two-piece look, but visually, it’s outstanding.

Mindy Kaling: This Sachin & Babi floral frock might not showcase Mindy’s love for colour, but it does showcase her love for elegant, feminine pieces.

Heather Graham: I love how the lace-up detailing brings contemporary flare to Heather’s Rebecca Vallance LBD.

Selma Blair: This Christian Siriano Resort 2018 dress gets it third outing – albeit in a different colourway – following Lily Collins and Jennifer Morrison.

I would have switched the colours of Aubrey’s pants and blouse. Otherwise great look.

i would just like to point out that after going through your archives nina hasn’t worn Zuhair Murad mini since the 2015 Teen Choice Awards or a short set since the 2014 teen choice awards so i don’t really think you can call it her comfort zone

Nina’s makeup is very odd. I think it’s the eyebrows. I don’t *love* anyone’s look here, particularly, but Mindy and Aubrey look nice.

Can I have Aubrey’s entire outfit please? I’d strut around the office feeling like a boss in that. Everyone in second row did well too.

Nina is not looking like Nina lately. The eyebrows? hmm

Love the color of both dress & hair!

I like the second row. Alll three ladies look chic and polished. (although I am not sure about Mindy’s shoes).

Nina needs another clutch and a stronger lip, Aubrey needs a stronger lip, but otherwise looks chic.

Madeline is a big no for me.
