Zosia Mamet In Yanina Couture – ‘Mother!’ New York Premiere

Posted by Catherine Kallon

Zosia Mamet attended the ‘Mother!’ New York premiere alongside Jennifer Lawrence and Emma Stone on Wednesday (September 13).

It would appear that the actress has hit a rich vein of form of late. Long may it continue.

I was swept away by her beautiful Miu Miu gown, and my feelings for her Yanina Couture dress are also highly regarded.

Channelling her inner Wednesday Addams, I love that despite her stern persona that she’s actually having fun with this look.

The veils adds plenty of intrigue and prevent this looking too much like a catholic school uniform.

Another personal best from her. Love the dress esp the peacock motif.
Ya, she has a veil but for her this overall look is good.

Yeah, I’m not really into this. I mean, the dress is stunning, the black-on-black effect works beautifully, but I miss a pop of colour in the outfit as a whole? To keep it from being too funeral? Also, as great as it might be in theory, I sadly don’t think she has the persona or presence or rc-charisma to pull that veil off. At least not yet.

that peacock in black on black is stunning.

    Love this look.

A head-to-toe black outfit plus a veil. Is she attending a funeral? Sorry, that veil does not add intrigue it adds a mournful vibe instead.
Better and more exciting shoes is what takes a LBD to the next level, not a funeral veil.
Needless to say the runway model looks far superior.

Acrually, Darren Aronofsky (the director of this movie) encouraged people to attend the premieres like they are “going to a funeral” lol. It’s a dark and disturbing horror movie so it makes sense.

I like this look anyway, she pulls it off!

For her, this is amazing. I Can’t get over the veil though.

Someone has a new stylist, no? She looks very good in this dress but the veil has to go.

She has the same stylist, I think they have just cranked things up a gear, or three

The only fact that she bothered to wear a couture piece speaks volumes…
